Other odds and ends...

Drew's new bouncer toy! It is too hot here to go outside, so we had to distract her with something! This did the trick! She likes to play in it AND nap in it!

Drew had her first chocolate covered banana. The pictures are in the wrong order, but you can tell she LOVED IT!!

Another swim lesson! This time mom got to get in the pool! All smiles once again!


She is getting even more confident jumping into the pool and we couldn't be more proud of her!

Drew FINALLY was blowing bubbles! She did great but did drank a little more pool water than I would have liked!

So, this week Drew made ANOTHER move on Wyatt! She went from a hug, RIGHT in for the kiss! We tried to teach her about playing hard to get, but that doesn't appear to be her style!!

SOOOO CUTE!!!

More swim lessons!

So, the big news of this lesson was Drew's second date with Wyatt. He was in our last class, too. Apparently when you are 1 you only have to know someone for a week before you give them a random hug!

Wyatt is a month younger than Drew and we hope to all become friends with them!

Similar picture as last time, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew she was in a swim suit this time! She looked amazing.

Drew LOVES jumping in the water! We went to the pool this weekend and she did it over and over for 30 minutes! She was a professional in her class thanks to all that practice!

Drew's First Swim Class!

Drew is enjoying floating on her back kicking and watching her teacher make bubbles!


That floaty was Drew's FAVORITE! She climbed on it so well her first try just like all of the older kids! Drew is about a year younger than anyone else in her class, but she hung in there like a champ!

She loved this, too! All of the kids climbed on together then all jumped off at once!

Her teacher was trying to give her 5 after completing the 'ring game.' Drew wasn't really having it. She did give him a very nice blank stare, though.

They wanted Drew to hold on to the side of the pool and pull herself along while knocking down the puzzle pieces.
We settled for her just knocking down the pieces while Jon carried her and helped her along!

Next time she is on her own though; the 2020 olympics aren't going to train themselves! :)

Here is a video of Drew in action. I missed the beginning where she climbed up on the raft. It was the best part so maybe I will get it next week!

We had so much fun and when Drew and I just watched this video.. 15 times... she started screaming and signing for 'more'! I think she liked her lesson!!
