Clearwater, Florida

Our semi-impromptu trip to Clearwater, Florida, to meet Winter was amazing!
Some major things happened that need to be noted. #1-Drew got to meet Winter. Best. Day. Ever. The bar has been set pretty darned high. #2- Clint gained SO much confidence in his swimming, thanks to his on-site teacher, Drew.

First-the new camera! We got a "destruction proof" underwater camera for the trip and Clint LOVED IT! Plus, I had to add all of these pictures with his long hair because I miss it so much!

"Take my picture!"

Selfies!

He looks like a super cute little bobble head here...

That FACE!

Horrible angle yet he is STILL CUTE!

More pictures!

LOVE THIS BOY!

 2nd-the plane ride!

Mom, take my picture then I will take yours!

Okay! :)

Drew's turn for the selfies!

Drew taking pictures of me and Clint-learning to use the camera!

Clint's turn with the camera...

Drew learned to curl her tongue. She got this from Jon because I still can't do this!

At least I tried..

Flight #2!

At least they got to sleep...

Landing!

We got off the plane and headed to our rental house! The highlight of the house was the semi-private POOL! I could post 500 pictures of the kids in this pool but will try to limit it to around 100.. :)

This waterfall could be turned on and off.

Underwater pictures were my favorite.

He started with the swimmies, but as you will see, by the end of the trip he sure didn't need any help in the water!

Sweet boy!

Love this face!

Jump!

Thumbs up!

LOVE!
Super CLINT!

When you first drive onto the island there is a roundabout, and directly on the other side of the roundabout is the pier where all of the activity is sort of based around. Every night there are street performers all over the place, little booths set up selling hand made items, and TONS of fun!
There were dolphins painted different at all of the different businesses. This one was on the pier.

This was the only turtle we saw but perhaps they had done the same thing as they did with the dolphins with turtles previously?

What a stud.

Jon bought us these awesome handmade flowers from a guy making them on the pier!

The kids first time in the ocean!

We were supposed to go on a dolphin tour and the kids were SOAKING so I made them lay down and roll around to try to dry off... it didn't really help but it made me laugh!
The Dolphin Tour on the Little Toot!!! We love the LITTLE TOOT!

Here was the first dolphin sighting!

There were 2 or 3 around our boat approximately 2 minutes after we left the shore!

My little dolphin watchers!

They started playing in our wake... it was awesome!

This picture has SO MUCH potential! Sadly, I barely got the dolphin in the picture!

Lucky for us they kept on playing as we rode along! They were simply BEAUTIFUL!!!

Buddy was looking for some more!

A hotel had this mural of Winter that Drew loved!

This is a cool pirate ship boat!

When we got back, the kids got Henna Tattoos!

Clint's turtle

Shocker.. Drew got a dolphin!

And Drew got her picture next to her FAVORITE dolphin.. the Hooters dolphin!
After the henna tattoos dried, we went back to the ocean! We were right on the ocean (no view, but still, about 10 steps from the beach) so we walked down and collected shells and swam. EVEN JON-who is terrified of the ocean!!!

Our house is behind that short yellow house just over Drew's head.
The beach didn't last long. The kids much preferred the pool!
The next day we went to SeaWorld. That trip was fantastic so I will do a separate blog about it!
